We never share or sell the information we collect from you with any third parties.
ATTENTION!! INSPECT YOUR PACKAGES RIGHT AWAY! FOR MISSING OR BROKEN ITEMS, YOU HAVE 2 DAYS TO CONTACT US TO REPORT THE PROBLEM. SWAG STORE ITEMS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS RETURN INFORMATION, RETURN TO ADDRESS LISTED ON PACKING SLIP.
RETURN PROCESS: Returning items require that you send us a message from the contact us page containing the following information: Your Email Address, Name, Item (and size), Order Number, what’s wrong with it, and whether or not you’ve opened or used the product. Our team will send you a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number to include with your package. We will also send you the return instructions, including the shipping instructions.
All item returns must be pre-authorized. We will discard items received without an RMA if we are not contacted within 30 days.
Returns for credit must be received by us within 30 days of purchase.
Item(s) must be new, unused, in original packaging, and resalable condition.
Item(s) and packaging must not have been damaged in shipping.
Returns for less than $15 may not be approved.
Special order items are not returnable unless they are defective (see Warranty Return Policy)
Hydroponic Systems, Trimming Machines, Extraction Systems, Lamps, and Bulbs are not accepted for returns.
Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility to pay.
New and Unopened Items: For products which are brand new, unopened, not damaged, saleable, and qualify for a return, you will receive a store credit voucher, less the restocking fee of 20% and any shipping and handling fees. The store credit voucher is redeemable on our website towards a future purchase. Keep in mind, we have to sell the product you return.
Opened and/or Used Non-Defective Products: We cannot accept returns of used and/or opened products for a couple of reasons. We don’t resell used or opened products. The types of products we sell change substantially when used or opened. Our confidence in the salability of all items we sell relies on the product being new and unopened. We only sell new products.
Undeliverable Packages: Orders returned by the carrier (shipping company) as undeliverable will be refunded minus the shipping costs. The shipping carrier charges both directions on the shipment, to the undeliverable address and back to us again. A 20% restocking fee is also charged. We make every effort to deliver packages to our customers prior to receiving a package as undeliverable.
Extraction products and Trimming Machines: Used trimmers, machines, extraction products cannot be returned for any reason. Warranty coverage on this type of equipment must go directly to the manufacturer. We offer no guarantees on suitability or performance of any of these devices. Poor performance doesn’t qualify for a product return. Plus you’ve opened and used the product, and we don’t accept these types of returns. The descriptions on our website are provided by the manufacturers and suppliers, we make no claims for their performance, and we don’t endorse them for any particular use.
Defective Items: If during the 30-day return period, an item is defective, this will be handled by Growers United . We may use the manufacturer or supplier for the return process. After the 30-day return period has expired, please refer all warranty requests to the manufacturer. If a defective item returned to Growers United is deemed functional, you will be responsible for all shipping and handling fees incurred. This includes cases where anything has been done to void the warranty of the item. In both cases, the item will be returned after all shipping and handling fees are paid.
Missing or Damaged items
We photograph the contents of every package before shipping them to you. If an item is missing, contact us immediately. We will check our photo archive to confirm the error.
Broken Bulbs, Lamps, Glass: We do not accept returns on any glass products in which the the glass has been cracked or broken. If the item was damaged in transit, refer to the “Shipping Damages” section. Items damaged in shipping are the responsibility of the carrier (shipping company).
Shipping Damages: If your items were damaged during shipping, promptly inform the driver or tell the driver that you “refuse the package because it is damaged”. The damages to products that occur during the shipping process are the responsibility of the shipping company. However, we are happy to get you a replacements as soon as possible. We can only send a replacement after the shipping company or we have physically verified the broken item(s). Please report damaged items immediately. All shipping companies have a strict time limit, usually 48 hours, to report the problem. We will need to know your order number, phone number, and item(s) damaged. International Customers: All charges relating to the shipment, customs, duties, tariffs, and taxes are the responsibility of the customer. There is an additional cost to shipping outside of the United States. Please contact us for the costs. All international sales are final. All manufacturer warranties must be directly submitted to the manufacturer. We are not responsible for any problems arising that make an item undeliverable, like customs. Please research before buying.
We provide a 30 day warranty return policy on many items purchased on our website or store, for store credit. After 30 days the warranty is provided by the manufacturer. Except for the following:
Special Orders – The availability of a return varies depending on the product because these are often shipped directly to you from our supplier. If the item is returnable, it is subject to a 30% restocking fee. The items condition must be new and unopened. Warranty is still applicable, and it will be repaired or replaced according to our warranty policy. Please contact us prior to purchasing a product to understand the product’s return eligibility.
Used Trimmers and trimming products are not returnable. Manufacturer warranty applies.
Growers United will not refund shipping charges.
Freight shipments are for items that are large and cannot ship in a box. They must ship on a pallet on a truck, usually with a lift gate. If a freight item return is approved, it is the customer’s responsibility to pay return shipping. The costs of shipping items in this manner can be substantial. Please use caution when making freight orders.
Payment Types: We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, PayPal, and Money Orders.
Credit Cards: In our effort to reduce fraud and ensure cardholder participation, ALL orders paid with a credit card must ship to an address on file with the credit card’s issuing bank. Typically, this is the billing address. We are happy to ship to an alternate address only if the alternate address is also on file with the credit card’s issuing bank. Just call the phone number on the back of the credit card to add the alternate address. We do not accept gift cards or pre-paid cards online. Credit card companies only ensure payment for purchases shipped to authorized addresses. Gift cards and pre-paid cards don’t have addresses on file, and therefore offer no recourse for a disputed charge.
PayPal: Orders paid using PayPal are required to ship to the confirmed address on your PayPal account. If your address is not confirmed by PayPal, we will not accept your payment. PayPal only protects and insures shipments to confirmed addresses. This goes for international customers as well.
Money Orders: Orders will be held for 10 days until payment is received. If payment is not received within that time frame, we will cancel your order, and you’ll have to place a new order. Make sure you reference your order number on your money order. Mail your money order to:

The majority of our orders are shipped the same day or next day, depending on the time we receive your order. The order might be delayed if we are temporarily out of stock on an item, but we may also elect to drop-ship the item to speed up the delivery of your purchase. You may receive two separate shipments if we decide to drop ship part of your order from a supplier or manufacturer. Most orders are shipped within 24 – 72 hours, weekends and holidays are excluded. We reserve the right to use the shipping carrier we decide as the best in regards to transit time and cost effectiveness.

Transit Times: We package your order as quickly as we can to get it to the carrier the same day whenever possible. However, if your order arrives later in the day, we may not be able to give it to the carrier the same day. If this occurs on a Friday, we may have to wait until Monday (or Tuesday if Monday is a Holiday) to get the package picked up. The transit time begins from the point in which the shipping company picks up the package. We provide all of the tracking information on our website, in your account’s order page. We really do our best to ensure your package is delivered to you as soon as possible! But we also hope you understand that these are limitations all companies shipping products encounter.
We will contact you within a business day if we are temporarily out of stock on an item. We will offer you the option of waiting for the item or removing it from your order.
Next Day, 2nd Day, and 3rd day shipping times reflect the point at which your order is picked up from us.
We must receive these orders before 10AM PST, or they will ship the next business day. Please keep in mind that it takes time to get your order together, packaged, and labeled. We promise to do this as fast as we can! Thank you for understanding.

Shipping to Alaska or Hawaii: Due to the added distance, the cost of shipping items to these areas is higher. If an item is marked as “Free Shipping”, we will add additional shipping costs to cover the increase it costs us. Please call or email us for the costs.
International Customers: Shipping charges estimated on our website only represent the carrier costs.
Additional fees include, Customs, Duties, Tariffs, and Brokerage Fees. These will be due upon receipt of your shipment, assessed by your country’s governing policies. This is common for shipping companies.
We are not responsible for any customs, duties, tariffs, brokerage fees, etc imposed by the country in which the order is received. Any customer ordering goods shipped from another country is considered an importer, and we encourage you to research these charges. The price we charge for your order does not account for the fees and taxes of your country.
