The Powerbox Ballast’s staggered start up prevents you from overloading your circuits as you turn on equipment all at once by turning ballasts on one at a time over the course of 15 seconds. The high hertz of this ballast makes it safe for use with double-ended bulbs–we recommend using double-ended bulbs on the superboost mode. Soft start technology allows the ballast to ignite bulbs without a large pulse to increase bulb life.
